DAY 1 Welcome
aboard, as we depart for Holland, Michigan, and the United States’ largest Tulip
Celebration. We’ll make an included morning break in western Wisconsin then continue
on to Madison for our lunch stop (on your own). This afternoon we’ll travel through
the Chicago area and around Lake Michigan to Stevensonville, MI, where we’ll check
into our hotel for the next 3 nights. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant nearby, and the
hotel has breakfast included each morning.
DAY 2 Following
breakfast, we’ll travel the short 20 miles to Holland, where we’ll pick up our
costumed tour guide. Later, we’ll visit the Dutch Village for time to explore the
shops and take in the Dutch entertainment. Then we’ll enjoy our included lunch prior
to taking our reserved seats for the Volksparade. You will enjoy the pre-parade
activities, the Klompen Dancers, and street scrubbing. On our return trip, we’ll stop
in Saugatuck for an exhilarating ride on the famous Dune Schooners on the shores of Lake
Michigan.
 
DAY 3 This
morning after our breakfast, we’ll return to Holland to visit Windmill Island, home
of “DeZwaan,” a 240-year-old authentic Dutch Windmill; a 227-year-old Dutch Inn;
and thousands of beautiful tulips! You’ll have time to browse the shops and have
lunch (on your own). This afternoon we’ll take our reserved seats for the headline
show of the Tulip Festival. Then we’ll enjoy our included Holland Tulip Festival
dinner, prior to returning to our hotel with the evening free to relax.

DAY 4 As
our luggage is loaded on the coach, we’ll enjoy our breakfast. Then we’ll head
west back through Chicago, stopping in southern Wisconsin for lunch (on your own).
We’ll arrive in the Twin Cities early this evening, full of wonderful memories of the
Holland Tulip Festival.
