DAY 1 We'll be transferred to the Minneapolis Airport to
board our flight to New
York City. After claiming our luggage, we’ll board our motorcoach, which will take us
to our lunch stop (on your own). Then we'll start our guided tour of the
“Big Apple,” including Chinatown, the Financial, Garment and Theatre Districts,
Rockefeller Center, and "Ground Zero." We'll check into our hotel for the next 3
nights, located in the heart of Manhattan. After unpacking you’ll be free to enjoy
the hotel and have dinner on your own. DAY
2 We’ll
head for Battery Park in lower Manhattan this morning and board the ferry to Liberty
Island to see our great Lady Liberty. We’ll
then continue on to Ellis Island to learn the story of the millions of immigrants who
entered our shores through Ellis Island. Later
you’ll have time for dinner on your own in “Restaurant Row” off the
world-famous Times Square. We’ll then
take our seats for our first Broadway performance (show to be announced).
DAY 3 Today
will be a fun day! First we’ll visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, then ride to the
top of the Empire State Building for a great view of New York. We'll enjoy a wonderful
lunch at the world-famous Tavern-on-the-Green Restaurant, then you’ll
have time to visit Central Park and do some shopping in the Big Apple. Later, you'll
have time
to have dinner (on your own) prior to taking our reserved seats for the second Broadway performance
(show to be announced).
DAY 4 This
morning we'll head to
the airport for our return flight to the Twin Cities.
Memories of all the exciting hustle and bustle, yellow cabs and Broadway are ours
to tuck away.
