DAY 1 As
we begin our wonderful motorcoach tour to New England well stop and enjoy our
included coffee and roll break. Our travels take us across Wisconsin and through the
Chicago area to our overnight in South Bend, IN. This evening we'll enjoy an included
Welcome Dinner.
DAY 2 An
included breakfast starts the day, then well head east across Ohio stopping for a
morning break en-route to the Cleveland area. We'll take a lunch break on your own, then
head along the shore of Lake Erie to our overnight in Erie PA. Upon arrival we'll check
into our hotel for the night and after time to refresh you'll be free to have dinner on
your own.

DAY 3 Following
included breakfast we'll head east into New York stopping in Jamestown, NY, the hometown
of Lucile Ball. Here we'll visit the Lucy and Desi Museum and then continue west across
lower New York to Corning. Upon arrival we'll stop for lunch on your own and then visit
the Corning Glass Museum. Later this afternoon we'll arrive in Albany, New York for our
overnight. The evening will be free to have dinner on
your own.
DAY 4 The
morning starts with included breakfast. Our wonderful fall foliage tour of New England
will truly begin as we travel north into Vermont, where our first stop will be the Vermont
Teddy Bear Factory in Burlington. Well continue on into the Green Mountains and
Waterbury for our visit to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, then well visit Woodstock, a
typical New England town noted for its Commons, well-preserved old homes and covered
bridges. We'll continue on to Quechee Gorge, Vermonts Little Grand
Canyon. Later well check into our hotel in Quechee. The evening will be
free to relax and have dinner on your own.

DAY 5 After
our included breakfast, well head north into New Hampshire and the town of Bath,
where well visit the oldest continuously operating General Store in America.
Well travel through Franconia Notch to Lincoln for a lunch break (on your
own). This afternoon well drive the Kancamagus Highway across the White
Mountains, once an old Indian trail. Well tour the Castle in the Clouds,
a mansion built at the turn-of-the-century. The Castles interior beauty is surpassed
only by the magnificent view of the Ossipee Mountains, Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake
(site of the movie On Golden Pond). Our destination this afternoon is Old Orchard
Beach, Maine for our overnight. Well enjoy a memorable Maine chowder and lobster
dinner this evening overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

DAY 6 As
we enjoy our included breakfast our luggage will be loaded on the coach. Well then
head south along the Atlantic coastline to Kennebunkport, drive past the home of former
President George Bush, and continue on to Gloucester, Massachusetts for time to browse the
shops, see the Fisherman's Memorial and have lunch (on your own). Then its on to
Boston to meet our guide for a tour of Lexington and Concord where the "Shot Heard
Round the World" was fired. After we check into our hotel for the next 2
nights, we'll enjoy a special New England Dinner at the quaint Wayside Inn, which inspired
the famous poet Henry W. Longfellow to write the poem by the same name.

DAY 7 After
our included breakfast well depart for our full-day guided tour of historic Boston
and the Freedom Trail. Well see places critical to the history of
the American Revolution: the site of the Boston Massacre, the harbor where the
Boston Tea Party took place, the Old North Church, Paul Reveres home, and the Old
State House. Well stop for lunch (on your own) at Quincys Market during our
tour. In the afternoon, we'll visit Cambridge and Harvard University. Later we
return to the hotel with the evening free to have dinner on your own.

DAY 8 Following
our included breakfast well head south with our guide along the coast, stopping in
Plymouth to see where the Pilgrims landed. Then its on to Cape Cod to visit historic
Sandwich, the oldest village on the cape. We'll stop for lunch (on your own), and then
continue our tour of Cape Cod, including Hyannis and the Kennedy Memorial. Well
overnight in the Fall River, MA area just north of Newport, RI with the evening free
to have dinner on your own.
DAY 9 This morning, we'll drive the short distance into Newport,
Rhode Island, for our tour of this town world-renowned for its spectacular summer cottages
and homes from the Gilded Age. Well tour Marble House, then head to Mystic, CT for a
lunch break (on your own) on the way to New York City for our overnight. This
evening well enjoy an included farewell dinner.
DAY 10 Well
enjoy included breakfast before we go to Battery Park to board the ferry to Liberty and
Ellis Islands. Then we'll head to the airport for our flight back to Minneapolis,
where youll be transferred back to your pickup locations. The wonderful memories of
the history and fall colors of New England and Cape Cod will last for years.
