TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH AT GRANDPA'S GARAGE June 9, 2009 - (Tuesday)
If you liked Johnny Cash music, you will love this show. Performed by Bob Wootton, "the man behind the man in black", he played lead guitar for Johnny Cash from 1968 to 1998 (30 years). Wootton appeared with Cash at prisons, the White House, and before the Queen of England. He played through the last public tour in 1998. After swearing to never play music again, Wootton had a change of heart in January 2004 and has played to sold-out crowds ever since. Few people know Johnny Cash and his music as closely as Wootton does. A buffet is included.

This tour starts with a tour and sampling at the Schell Brewery, founded in 1860. Watch out for the peacocks!!! We will do a short tour of historic New Ulm and then continue on to the Fair Grounds for the Bavarian Blast: a Bavarian Tent includes bands from Germany, a Variety Tent includes country, rock, and light music, and a Polka Tent includes New Ulm and area bands. SHOWBOAT & LUNCHEON CRUISE AUGUST 11, 2009 - (Tuesday)
Join Tourco on the Padelford Boat Company's noon sightseeing cruise and the Centennial Showboat Theater. You will cruise the river to Fort Snelling and back to Harriet Island to board the Showboat. In 2009, we go back to Warrens, for their annual cranberry festival. You will be able to tour the cranberry bogs "on your own" or just shop 'til you drop. THE JAIL BAILERS September 30, 2009 - (Wednesday)
After an early lunch at Dana's in Chippewa Falls: Roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravy, Veggie, and beverage, we will continue on to the historic Heyde Center for the Arts. Originally built as a high school in 1907, this magnificently restored treasure is truly a gem. Sit back and enjoy the Jail Bailers, part of the Bogus County Work Release program, with great singing, not so great dancing, and just a whole lotta fun. After the show we will stop for an ice cream cone at Olson's Ice Cream Parlor, a Chippewa Falls tradition since 1944.
